Good morning! I’m popping my head up from the dark side of creating things for a little “Happy Father’s Day” Composite. While this composite looks rather simple, I had to go through quite a lot to get it here. Creating hands for one! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful Father’s Day!

Project 52 - Week 45 - “Caged”

Caged

Welcome to week 45! This week I think got even darker with the “ABCs of Sorrow” series. This one is called “Caged”. My thinking behind this one is someone who has had their heart ripped out and is stuck with no place to go. I think it turned out well. At one point it was a lot bluer, but I felt it needed some grunginess and grit so I added the various brown shades. I am pretty proud of this one. I hope you enjoy it!

On that blog, I have been working on “Project 52”, which is where I commit to create at least 1 Composite each week for 52 weeks. Welcome to week 43! This week’s piece took a darker turn. I supposed that might have to do with me being immersed in the fantastic work of Brooke Shaden this week. Her work is inspiring and dark, which I love! This one can be interpreted several ways and I leave it up to you, dear viewer, to decide the meaning. Enjoy!
